Hemlock / Douglas Fir / SPF

Hemlock and SPF are primarily used in North America as structural building materials because of the strength and density within their fibers. While markets in Asia, make use of hemlock/SPF when it comes to various manufacturing applications, such as pallets, furniture, and forming.

Each market has unique requirements and we have the capability of harvesting logs for custom cutting in North America (Canada and the USA), in order to cut specific sizes and grades to fulfill the detailed needs of clients located in their respective regions. Please enquire for requests.

Lastly, we have established long term committed contracts with sawmills throughout North America, to export their products on a reoccurring monthly basis.

Internally, we use this species in our manufacturing processes at company facilities overseas, to produce different types of furniture, forming components which can then be re-used in our real estate development projects.

In addition to custom orders catered to clients, there are also many different sizes and grades we manufacture ourselves on a regular basis. Sizes include 38x89, 38x140, 38x235, 38x285, 40x90, 40x143, 40x190, 45x90, 45x95, 45x105, 50x50, 50x100, 50x150, 50x200, 97x97, 100x100, 100x150, 100x200, 105x105, 120x120, 140x140, 150x150, 200x200. Western Red Cedar (WRC)

Western Red Cedar is a species containing special characteristics in that it has anti-rotting properties. This allows it to not only avoid rotting over time but also molding and deterioration are not issues either. It is the ideal species for a number of outdoor applications.

Interworld produces clear and finger jointed materials for international markets, as well as trim boards to bevel sidings.

We make use of western red cedar internally when it comes to manufacturing processes at our overseas facilities, to produce furniture, forming components which are then re-used within residential real estate development projects.
